1. Who is responsible?
Murgtal Shuttle
Proprietor: Thomas Heinz
Diakonissenweg 2
76593 Gernsbach
Germany
Email: anfrage@murgtal-shuttle.de
2. What happens when you visit the website?
The web server processes technical data so the website can be delivered securely. This may include IP address, date and time, the page visited, browser, operating system and error logs. Processing is necessary for the secure and reliable operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs are kept only for as long as required for operation, security and troubleshooting.
3. What data do we process for a request or booking?
Depending on your request, we process:
- name, email address and mobile number;
- pickup address, destination, date and time;
- number of passengers, luggage, flight number and notes;
- calculated route, journey time, price, booking and status data.
We need this information to check your request, provide a quote, book and operate the ride, answer questions and handle billing. The legal basis is taking steps before and performing the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We comply with statutory retention duties under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
4. Route and address checking
The pickup or destination address is sent to a mapping service to provide address suggestions, distance and journey time. Depending on technical availability, the website uses services from HeiGIT/OpenRouteService or public services based on OpenStreetMap (Nominatim and OSRM). The address and technical connection data may be processed. Please do not enter extra personal information into the address fields.
5. ERP 5 booking system
The booking request is securely transferred to our ERP 5 booking system at mein-haushalt.info. We use it to check the schedule and availability, manage booking status and issue confirmations. Access is restricted to authorised persons.
6. Contact form and email
If you write to us, we process the sender, message and contact details to reply and deal with the request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for ride-related requests and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering your message under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Technical hosting and email providers may process data on our behalf.
7. Storage in your browser
The website temporarily stores necessary booking details in your browser so that moving between booking steps works. It may also store your most recently used personal status link and the email address used with it. You can delete these entries in your browser settings. They support the booking function and are not used for advertising.
8. Who receives data?
Data is available only to parties that need it to operate the website, booking or ride: Murgtal Shuttle, contracted hosting and email providers, the route and mapping services named above, and authorities or other bodies where disclosure is legally required. Customer data is not sold.
9. How long do we keep data?
Requests that do not become bookings are deleted when they are no longer needed and there is no legitimate reason to retain them. Booking, invoice and payment data is kept for the statutory retention periods. It is then deleted or anonymised.
10. Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability. You may object, for reasons relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for the future. Contact anfrage@murgtal-shuttle.de.
You may also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
11. Security and automated decisions
The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects and do not create advertising profiles.
