1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to rides requested or booked by customers with Murgtal Shuttle. The provider is Murgtal Shuttle, proprietor Thomas Heinz, Diakonissenweg 2, 76593 Gernsbach, Germany.
2. Request, availability check and binding booking
Your first request through the website is non-binding. We check the date, travel time and schedule. You will then receive the final trip details and price. The booking becomes binding when you confirm these details and Murgtal Shuttle accepts the ride. Confirmation is sent by email or shown in your personal booking status.
3. Trip details
Please check the pickup address, destination, date, time, number of passengers and contact details before confirming. Tell us in advance about child seats, special or unusually large luggage and other important requirements. Changes are possible only if the vehicle and schedule allow them.
4. Price
The total price is displayed or communicated before the binding booking. It includes statutory VAT and any surcharge known at the time of booking.
- A night surcharge of 25% applies between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- A surcharge of 50% applies on public holidays in Baden-Württemberg.
- If both surcharges apply, only the higher one is charged.
- For a return journey booked at the same time, the return discount shown in the booking system is included.
If the customer changes the route, pickup point, destination, time or scope of service after confirmation, the price may change. We will provide the revised price before the changed ride.
5. Payment
The fare is paid directly to the driver in cash.
6. Pickup, waiting time and delays
The customer should be reachable and ready to leave at the agreed time and place. For airport pickup, the first 30 minutes of waiting time are free. If a longer wait causes extra costs, we will explain them as early as possible.
Please tell us immediately by email or through the website about a flight delay or other change. A reported flight delay is not automatically a cancellation; it depends on whether the pickup can be moved within the schedule.
7. Passengers and luggage
Only the confirmed number of passengers and items of luggage may be carried, and only where safe transport is possible. Dangerous or illegal items are excluded. Animals and items likely to cause heavy soiling must be agreed in advance.
8. Cancellation
The deadlines and charges are set out clearly in our Cancellation terms. They form part of the booking.
9. If Murgtal Shuttle cannot operate a ride
If illness, vehicle breakdown, extreme weather, road closure or another unavoidable event prevents the ride, we will tell you as quickly as possible. We do not charge for a ride that is not operated and will refund any amount already paid. Where possible, we will help look for an alternative, but cannot guarantee one.
10. Liability
Murgtal Shuttle is liable under the statutory rules for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health. For a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to the typical foreseeable loss. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
11. Complaints and applicable law
If anything is wrong, please email anfrage@murgtal-shuttle.de. We will first try to find a fair solution together. German law applies. Mandatory consumer-protection rules remain unaffected.
